Bindah Identity Design

Monday, April 16th, 2012

This is a new identity I recently created for a company called Bindah that creates artisan beaded products from Bali. The name Bindah is derived from “B” representing beads, and “indah” which is beautiful in Indonesian.

I’m excited to work with these nice people that appreciate graphic design. Below are few product samples, available at Neiman Marcus Dallas. Additionally, I’m creating an e-commerce store for them, so their products will be available online in approximately 3 months at www.bindah.com

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

I designed this a while back, prior to my good friends Darcy and Ashley jumping head first into parenthood. I stumbled into on my desktop today—it caught my eye, and thought I’d go ahead a share it with others.

New CMS Site for Directorz.net

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

Like September, October has been a whirl wind of deadlines, and of course all those needy clients are keeping me from blogging. There’s much to share, and I plan to have a postathon over the next week or so.

This is a new CMS site for Directorz.net that has been integrated with WireDrive, a nifty online video portfolio tool that many in the film industry have embraced. The integration allows Directorz to edit different portfolios for their film/commercial directors on WireDrive and they instantly update the portfolios on the Directorz.net site. Additionally, all the Directorz.net content is editable/CMS (Content Management System). Built in Ruby on Rails, and utilizing Edit Preview which is a CMS solution we developed that hosts ROR code on an independent server, and as you edit content the Rails crunches your code, converts it to HTML and uploads it to any server you desire. What’s great about Edit Preview for us is we don’t have to handle Rails hosting set up, and all the head aches that come with transitioning clients to new hosting solutions.

Also, the previous Directorz logo was dated and needed updating. So, since we were launching their new site, everyone agreed we needed a identity as well. Therefore, I designed this new logotype for them.

New Identity for Amy Conway

Friday, September 24th, 2010

This is a new mark and logotype I’ve designed for jewelry designer Amy Conway. The combination the infinity symbol, heart and butterfly seemed to effortlessly work together, and won over myself and the client. Will be launching packaging, and ecomm site for Amy soon.

New Eight Body Moisture Online Store

Friday, June 25th, 2010

We recently launched this ecommerce site for Eight Body Moisture using Shopify a online retail solution. All in all, I’m very impressed. It’s a great solution for start-ups, very scalable, and graphic design wise, easy to customize. And even better for start-ups, the cost. The plan I’m using for Eight Body Moisture is only $99 a month, and Shopify gets 1%. Not a bad solution for a dream with limited funds.

In regards to the Eight Body Moisture products, they’re simply awesome. No sell here, they sell themselves. If you haven’t tried them, your missing out, or your a leather skinned person that just doesn’t care. I’m a leather skinned person too, but I don’t like it. With vast exposure to the sun, and my naturally dry skin, I’ve given it a try, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever used. Try it, you be the judge.

Eight Body Moisture Packaging

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Here’s Eight Body Moisture packaging that just came off press and got its picture taken. Available in two scents Ginger Lime and Lavender—this image only shows the Ginger Lime products. The design details aren’t evident in this image as well—inside of box is solid green and lavender depending on the scent, and the logos on the boxes are registered embossed. Definitely a touch n feel that images don’t translate well.

Eight Body Moisture Logo

Thursday, April 15th, 2010

Here’s a new logo for Eight Body Moisture. There were many other solutions, but the client elected to go with this ultra minimal solution. The packaging is just coming off the press and will be photographed next week. I’ll post it when the images arrive.

Product wise, Eight is great! No kidding, I’m not pitching you. But, for people who have dry skin issues, like me, well here’s the answer, Eight! Just try it…then tell me if it’s not some of the best stuff ever for dry skin. It has 14 natural oils, smells good going on, but doesn’t make you smell like a department store all day. Within a few minutes the scent dissipates, and it’s all you. Bla, bla, bla. Just try it. It’s available in it’s current packaging at www.eightbodymoisture.com, the new packaging and site will be online by 5/30.
